The cliffs at North Bondi are one of the best known attractions on the eastern suburbs of Sydney. They are in the tourism hotspot of Bondi, 7km from Sydney CBD. There is a very picturesque coastal walk that goes from this area to The Gap in Watson Bay.
In this painting I wanted to catch the majesty of the cliffs, the rugged terrain, and the energy of the water below.
The view from the top of the cliffs is breath taking.
I created this painting using mainly the palette knife in order to produce exquisite texture.
The sides of the canvas are painted black. It is ready to hang with a strong wire at the back. Framing is not required but optional.
