This painting is for the surf lover who knows how it feels to wait dismally for a good wave.
It was inspired by a trip to Port Douglas in North Queensland. Driving along the coast from Cairns up you are surrounded by beautiful palm trees. The beaches are gorgeous but sometimes you have to wait really long for a good swell.
I used AS professional oil colours - Australian made - on a gallery stretched canvas. The sides are painted black.
The artwork is ready to hang with a strong wire at the back. Framing is optional but not required.
