This painting is a smaller version of my favourite subject - Sydney Harbour. This time the view is from the suburb of Queenscliff, a suburb in the northern beaches of Sydney. The area is very popular with surfers because of its heavy waves that break out at sea. But quiet spots like this one, with residential houses, are also found.
This is a textured oil painting done entirely with the palette knife.
The sides are painted black and it has a strong wire at the back so framing is optional but not required.
