The inspiration for this painting came from a trip with my family to Wellington NSW. A town on the banks of the Macquarie and Bell rivers in the Great Western Plains. Just over four and a half hours from Sydney. I don't know if there is a house like this on the banks of the river. I just imagined a place where I would like to live on the banks of the Bell River.
I used acrylics and inks on this painting. I just love the combination.
It is a small piece that can go together with any of my other small pieces depicting Australian landscapes or scenes.
The sides are painted black so framing is optional but not required.
