During one of our holidays in South America some friends invited us for drinks to a bar adjacent to this wharf on the River Plate from where you can see the most unbelievable sunset imaginable. The River Plate is situated between the historic city of Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay and Buenos Aires in Argentina . Most of this artwork was done with the palette knife, in a bid to achieve an impressionistic style, and using professional quality oil paint on a stretched canvas.
