The inspiration for this painting was one of many photos I took one Sunday afternoon when I took my granddaughter to Taronga Zoo, which is located on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour.
It was a radiant autumn day and the harbour was glowing in all its magic. We sat in the shade of that tree for a long time watching the boats sailing past with the backdrop of the two Sydney icons: the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
