In June 2018 my husband and I visited Quebec City as part
of a grand tour of the USA and Canada.
I had read about Quebec City and knew about its French
heritage and remaining influence, but you really have to visit to understand
the pride of its people and how they maintain their culture.
The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Treasure and the minute
you step outside your hotel you feel transported to the magic of Europe. We
stayed at the Hilton Hotel, walking distance from the heart of the Old City,
where you walk cobblestone streets lined with centuries-old buildings, art
galleries, exquisite boutique shops, museums, monuments, old churches and wonderful
little restaurants.
